The percussion group "Dongchun" is an all women's group of seven members. Dongchun's performance incorporates female's delicate sensitivity and soft movements to the dynamic performance of poongmool differentiatingitself from the traditional all male Samulnori (Korean traditional percussion quartet) group.

Dongchun delivers creative percussion performance incorporating various percussion instruments and props along with percussion ensemble of instruments such as Daego and Modeumbuk and individual Pankut that displays each member skills in the dynamic movement of Pan, rearranging many traditional melodies in a contemporary way that responds to the time.

This year, Dongchun will make creative sound with its innovative attempt to create engaging performance.
