Slap is a percussion ensemble with five young percussionist who also composes music. All the members studied traditional percussions for more than 10 years and have the techniques of traditional poongmul, instrumental rhythm and Shamanic music.

They are also skillful with various western percussions and they incorporate electric sound with instruments like the electric drums and digital samplers. The crystal drum and traditional drum that Slap uses, are made by the members making their sound more diverse. Slap began with 'traditional' music, and now, their objective is not to 'return,' but to 'recreate' through new musical interpretation.

However, Slap does not want to be trapped in these quite serious concepts, but freely use their musical creativity and skillful performance to make special ensemble sound of their own.
