Wicked Aura Batucada blends hip hop, funk and traditional Singaporean rhythm to Afro-Latin Samba sounds known for its passionate performances. The group started with 6 members and learned how to engage the audience by performed in streets.

Their "street performing strategy" was effective, and they were able to gather people anywhere and create festivities. Now the group comprises of more than 12 young drummers and played in many stages like the International Latin Festival, Asian MTV Awards, Singapore Art Festival, and the opening act of the "Black Eyed Peas" in their concert in Singapore.

In 2004, they gained world recognition through "WOMAD Singapore." The concert is based on enjoyment and fun for all and the members call their work "a professional hobby." The group performs in many stages around the world with their uniqueness and passion.
