Son Reinas, an all female salsa band that came together in 1994, is highly popular band that plays regularly in "Beatland" in Roppongi  and "Hotel Pacific" and "Tato Tyoko" in Shinagawa. The members are traditional Latin musicians who studied Latin vocal and percussions and dance in Brazil and Venezuela

. The group is gaining attention in New York, Hawaii, L.A and Cuba. They started to make a name for themselves when they captures the spotlight at the "summer Jazz" festival in 1995, and gained the media attention in 1997 when they performed for a month in famous stages like "S.O.B.S"and "Broadway 2" in New York.

The group also performed at the "1998 Salsa Festival"in Hawaii, "Cafe Remmy" in New York, "Plus" concert, "1999 Bolero Festival" in Cuba, "Big Apple Jazz Club" and KBS TV in Korea. This world famous salsa band that participated in the 2003 Drum Festival giving passionate a performance, is a highly anticipated group for this year's event.
