'Looking out to the world with China in their hearts.'

The name of the group, '960 Beats Band' has a meaning that they represent China, which is 960 square feet and is a land of 56 different groups of people. All the members of the group majored in music in some of the best schools in the country, and they have been creating and leading the culture of percussion in China with traditional percussion instruments. 

All pieces performed by the group are composed by the members. They create new kind of music that incorporates western percussion instruments to the traditional Chinese percussions. By applying contemporary sound to the traditional music, 960 Beats Band is enhancing the value of the traditional Chinese culture, and they are becoming a Chinese percussion band that attracts attention from around the world.
